Honoring one of the biggest snubs from the Rock 'N Roll Hall of Fame. The one and only "Weird" Al Yankovic. And I'm not doing it alone this week as my favorite co-host Chloe, joins me for this really fun episode. This is a special and nostalgic episode for me because "Weird" Al was the first concert my parents took me to when I was growing up. I've been a dedicated and loyal fan for over 35 years and his genius as crafting parodies and song-style parodies are unparalleled by anyone. Because I don't play singles on this show I concentrate on some deep cuts from Al, and particularly his original compositions that I think are some of his forgotten classics that I hope you love as much as I do.
I do not own the rights to any of the music played on this podcast. The musicians or the music labels own the copyright. I play this music under the doctrine of Fair Use. I am not here as a DJ, but to offer music commentary and criticism. My goal is for you to gain a larger appreciation for the bands or the musicians played here on this podcast and I ask for you to go out and purchase their music or legally stream it. The musicians need your support and I hope this show contributes to spreading the good word about the bands you hear on these episodes. I do not profit in any way from this podcast. It is truly done out of my pure love of the music.
