This week is a special one for me. Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers are the soundtrack to my life. His music was there during my formative years, during my adolescence, my teenage years, high school, college, cross country moves to Los Angeles and back to New England. He was there for good times and bad times. Graduations, breakups, new beginnings, and sometimes his music was just there holding space for me while I figured out what my life was all about. Yes, his music is extremely personal to me and I'm very excited to share with you ten of my favorite underrated and under-appreciated songs from his 70's and 80's classic era.

My goal is for you to gain a larger appreciation for the bands or the musicians played here on this podcast and I ask for you to go out and purchase their music or legally stream it. The musicians need your support and I hope this show contributes to spreading the good word about the bands you hear on these episodes. I do not profit in any way from this podcast. It is truly done out of my pure love of the music.
