Take Your shorts offshore film festival.

We have a wonderful announcement.  Fellow friend, actor, and Block Island mover & shaker Andre Boudreau has organized the 'Take Your Shorts Offshore Film Festival'.  The event will take place on Saturday, June 14 on Block Island at the Island Free Library (Dodge Street, Block Island, RI)

Our latest film, 'Right There' will be screened as well as 5 other short films from extremely talented local filmmakers.

The Island Free Library and DRAMA 911 are pleased to announce Block Island’s first ever international short film festival.  The event will showcase short films from emerging regional and international filmmakers . The program will also include three one minute films produced by Block Island middle grade students.  Filmmakers will be on hand to discuss their films with the audience.  This event is a fundraiser for the construction of a new digital literacy center at the Island Free Library. Cost is 5 dollars.  More information as well as a complete list of the films and filmmaker bios will be printed in the June 13 edition of the Block Island Times.  This event would not be possible without the generosity and support of Joe Grillo, owner of the Oceanwest Theater at Champlins Marina.
