'Right There' accepted into the Shawna Shea Film Festival.

We received word today that Right There was accepted into the Shawna Shea Film Festival, and will be screened during the event taking place between November 20th-22nd at the Somerville Theater.



The Shawna Shea Film Festival is designed to honor truly independent films. It was established in 2012 as a fundraiser for the Shawna Shea Memorial Scholarship Fund to honor Shawna's unique independent spirit by highlighting films that share the same quality. 

The Shawna Shea Memorial Scholarship honors the memory of Shawna Shea, who at 16 tragically lost her life in an automobile accident in 1999. Her classmates memorialized Shawna by raising $10,000 and establishing The Shawna Shea Memorial Scholarship, which is awarded annually to a female Uxbridge High School graduate who exhibits the qualities of the late Shawna Shea, qualities that made her unique and made a lasting impact on everyone she touched in her short life here on Earth. ​
